Don’t let corporate-funded politicians and CEOs shut down the NLRB. Tell Sen. Dick Durbin and Sen. Mark Kirk to confirm nominees to the Board.

All Omar and his co-workers wanted was a seat at the table to improve workplace conditions. Instead, they were fired for organizing. The NLRB ruled Omar and his co-workers were illegally fired and must be given back pay and their jobs back, but that decision has been delayed because of corporate legal attacks against the Board.

And now, corporate-funded politicians in the Senate are threatening to make it easier for CEOs to deny workers their rights by refusing to confirm President Barack Obama’s nominations to the Board.

Tell Sen. Dick Durbin and Sen. Mark Kirk to confirm President Obama’s NLRB nominations to stop the CEO power grab.

If the current nominations aren’t confirmed, CEOs will be able to violate workers’ rights and intimidate workers into keeping silent about dangerous working conditions, poverty wages or simply making the company better. And workers like Omar won’t have a say on the job or a way to fight back.
