Title II contract books were picked up Tuesday morning and will be distributed by Facility Maintenance Stewards and Auto Shop Safety Steward Drew Catania. Drew will work with the other Stewards in the auto shop and get them distributed as soon as possible.
Title III contract books are another story. Here's an update from the company as to where the Title III books are:
"We are still trying to locate our contract books. They were delivered and signed for, and we thought we had located them- however when we opened the box it was to Dale and included IAM books… a different shipment all together.
I believe we have them located, but the manager of the employee that signed for them will speak with the employee tomorrow to track down our boxes and HOPEFULLY get them to us tomorrow in order to disperse them."
When we verify that they are actually TWU contracts and they are sent to the ramp and Cargo; we will let you know how they will be distributed.
It's astounding that this company will record close to a four billion dollar profit this year, yet they struggle with the logistics of printing, shipping and delivering something as simple as contract books. Hard to believe if they weren't the world's largest airline but then again, our last leader went on to work for Walmart.
